SINCE 1965
Handcrafted Heritage: The Story of Mauna Loa III
Built in 1965 by the legendary Master Shipwright Biggio of Carloforte, Mauna Loa III is a masterpiece of Mediterranean naval art. Her design is a poetic tribute to the Bilancelle—the historic wooden vessels that once transported minerals from the cliffs of Porto Flavia.
Originally designed for strength, she was reimagined for elegance with a Marconi sail and a refined wooden cabin. At 10 meters long, she offers the perfect balance of vintage charm and modern comfort, featuring a private cabin and an on-board bathroom.
